Nichols, 57, who died Saturday morning, April 27, at 10 a.m. following a short illness, were held from the Boynton funeral chapel Sunday afternoon, April 28, at 10 a.m. Rev. Theodore Strauss of the St. Paul’s Lutheran church officiated and interment was at Highland Park cemetery. Bearers were Albert Nichols, Henry Nichols, Seymour Nichols and Oscar Nichols. Miss Nichols has lived in Ionia for about 20 years. Her home was located on Harrison street. She was born December 2, 1883. Surviving are two brothers, Albert of St. Johns, and Henry, of Pewamo, and one sister, Mrs. James Ritenburg of Pewamo.
