Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, June 1, 1963

Mrs. Emma D. Nichols died Saturday morning at Wood rest home on Cleveland 
street at the age of 100.

She was born in Lyons, January 11, 1863, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Elmer 
Utter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Nichols; a son, Claude White and a 
daughter, Mrs. Flossie Waters.

Surviving are eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 15 nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home. Interment at Balcom 
cemetery.
