WOODLAND RESIDENT PASSED AWAY TUESDAY

Mrs. Winnie Nichols, 72, of Woodland, route 1, died Tuesday night at the  DeWitt 
Convalescent home in Hastings, where she had been a resident about five weeks.

She had been a lifelong resident of Woodland township. Surviving is the husband, 
William. Funeral services will beheld Friday at 2:00 at the Pickens funeral 
Chapel with burial in Woodland Memorial Cemetery.

Rev. Harley Townsend of Battle Creek will officiate.
