Irene Louise Nicholson, aged 90, of Muir passed away March 6, 2015.  She was born
Sept. 1, 1924, in Bentsport, Iowa, the daughter of Luthen and Lucy (Patterson)
Hawes.  She married Harold W. Nicholson April 20, 1950, he passed away Feb. 21,
1985.  Irene worked at the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons for many years before her
retirement.

She is survived by her children Zenas George Hanes of Muir, Julius Nicholson of
Muir, Ronnie Nicholson of Ionia, Bonnie Nicholson of South haven, Karen (Bruce)
Cupps of Lyons, Diane (Jerry) Porubsky of Ionia and Donald (Lynn) Nicholson of
Alaska.  Thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, children Billy,
Kenny, Cecil, Lucy and Scott and two brother and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Lake
Funeral Home in Muir with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.  Interment in the Spring
at Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral
Home.
