Scot Allen Nicholson, 25, of 2427 Struble Road, Muir, died Tuesday, March 7, at
his residence.  He was born Aug. 7, 1969, in Lansing, the son of Harold and
Irene (Hawes) Nicholson.  He graduated from Ionia High School in 1989 and
attended EBI Breakthru in Lake Odessa.

He is survived by his mother, Irene; four brothers, Julius Nicholson of Muir,
Cecil and Ronnie Nicholson, both of Ionia and Donald Nicholson of Anchorage,
Alaska; three sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Owens and Mrs. Karen Cupps, both of Muir, and
Diane Probsky of Grand Rapids.  He is also survived by one half-brother, George
Hanes, of Muir.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hull memorial Chapel in
Muir.  The Rev. Paul Carmichael of the Lyons Baptist Church will officiate. 
Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.  Visitation will be on both Thursday and
Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions in
care of the family may be made at the funeral home.
