Well Known Portland Man Buried.
Funeral services for Jay M. Nicholson were held Thursday afternoon at the home 
of Harriet Goodrich of this place.  Rev. R.S. McGregor officiating.  Mr. 
Nicholson was 62 years of age and was a well known citizen of this community. 
He leaves three brothers, Ambrose and Glenn of Portland and Adelbert, of 
Ionia, and fives sisters, Mrs. Harriet Goodrich, Mrs. Emily Kinney, Mrs. Mary 
Keefer, Mrs. Cornelia Smith, of Portland and Mrs. Carrie Benedict of Detroit.
