Christopher Jon Nichoson, 37 of Crystal, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 at 
Sparrow Hospital.

Christopher was born May 1, 1973 in Carson City to Jon and Linda (Chaffin) 
Nichoson. He graduated from Carson City-Crystal High School in 1992 and 
attended Montcalm Community Collegee. He was employed for numerous years at 
Blanchard’s Thriftway in Crystal and most recently with Muellar Brass in 
Belding. Chris had a love for hunting, fishing, and many friends along with 
being the core of Ashlee Scott 7S racing. He will be forever in the hearts of 
many friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Tiffany; mother Linda (James) Porter of Sand Lake; 
father , Jon (Elizabeth) Nichoson of Carson City; sisters, Kari (Roy) Edmister 
and their children Jon and Anna Schoenlein and Garrett and Ella Edmister all of 
Findlay, Ohio, Natalie (David) Scott and their children Kaleb, Joshua, 
Traitlynn, Ashlee and Trenton all of Vestaburg; grandmothers, Donna Nichoson of 
Vestaburg, Lois Chaffin of Haslett; and his dog, Buddy of Vestaburg. Also many 
aunts and uncles.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alethan Chaffin, Ralph 
Nicohoson and Darlene Chaffin, who are greeting him with open arms and love.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 at the Lux and 
Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal with Pastor Larry Austin officiating. Interment 
will be in Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. 
and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Crystal. 
Memorials may be made to establish the, “Chris Nichoson Wrestling 
Scholarship”to sponsor a child at Carson City-Crystal Schools.
