Nickert, 81, 6511 Olmstead Rd., Muir, died Friday, Oct. 26, 1990, at Carson City Hospital. Mrs. Nickert was born Dec. 18, 1908, at Hopkins, the daughter of Claude and Mamie Newman. She had been a lifelong resident of the Muir area. A former school teacher, Mrs. Nickert was a member of Shiloh Community Church, Orleans. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julius A. Treusdell, July 9, 1976, and a grandson, Keith Chipman, Nov. 2, 1973. She was married to Lyndon Nickert Jan. 6, 1979. He survives. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Roseann Treusdell, Muir; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Lawrence Chipman, Fenwick, and Camilla and Leonard Riley, Muir; four step-daughters and their husbands, Melinda and Terry Bollinger, Vestaburg, Nancy and Paul Bollinger, Carson City, Virginia and John Creelman, Auburn, Wash., and Elizabeth and Melvern Pearson, Dewitt; a brother and his wife, Ford and Marge Newman, Fenwick; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and 16 step-great- grandchildren. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Community Church, the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment will be at Palo Cemetery. Visitation at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home is 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested by the family for Shiloh Community Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
