Lake Odessa Wave - May 27, 1971
          SERVICES HELD FOR HENRY NICOLAI
   Henry A. Nicolai, 71, passed away Thursday evening at his home following a long
illness.
   He was born at Taylor, Michigan November 4, 1898, the son of August and Johanna
(Wotke) Nicolai.  He was 
a retired employe of the Ford Motor Company in Detroit and resided at Bellevue
before coming to Lake 
Odessa in 1967.  He was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church.
   He married the forger Ethel Lozo, November 12, 1967, who survives; also seven
children living in the Detroit 
area; several grand and great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Tyre of
Bellevue.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday at 2:30 at Pickens Funeral Chapel.  Rev.
Wayne Ritchie officiated 
with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
