Arrangements will be announced by the Leddick funeral home. ----------- Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Nimz, 89, of 124 Summit will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Leddick funeral home. Rev. Lyall Shepard of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Nimz died early Friday morning at a nursing home on Yeomans street. Born May 21, 1883, in Germany she came with her family to Ionia as an infant and lived her entire life here. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary Zanders Lemke. Her husband, Gus Nimz, died November 30, 1947. Surviving are two sons, Carl of Racine, Wis., and James of Mesa, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great- grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Lemke of Ionia and Richard Lemke of Grand Haven; sister Mrs. Lena Parker of Columbus, Ohio. Family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. ---------- Rev. Lyall Shepard of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church officiated at funeral services Monday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Martha Nimz, who died Friday. Interment was at Highland Park cemetery. Bearers were Walter Lyons, Wallace Jackson, Leo McAlary, Max Koss, Roy Weber and Delbert Lemke. Following graveside services a luncheon was served to family and friends by the women of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church in the church dining room.
