Greenville Daily News, Mon., April 13, 1953
SHERIDAN - Forest Hugh Niswonger, 72, died Sunday at his home in Sheridan 
after a long illness. A retired farmer, Mr. Niswonger was born Nov. 22, 1880 
at Remus. He had been a resident to Sheridan for the past four years and 
previously, a resident of Fenwick for 17 years. He was a member of the 
Methodist Church at Remus.

He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Spangler, whom he married in 
1905; a daughter, Mrs. Bertam Hanselman of near Stanton; a son, Everett, of 
Belmont and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins Funeral Home 
in Sheridan. The Rev. E.S. Vane will officiate. Interment will be in Palo 
Cemetery.

PALO

Burial services for Forest [sic] Neiswander of near Sheridan were held at 
the cemetery Wednesday afternoon. He was a resident of Ronald about 20 years 
and and lived on the John Wilson farm south of town.
