       BRIAN NIXON

Died Monday, February 23, 2026.
Brian served his Country in the Army during Vietnam War from 1972 until 1975.
He served as a correction officer from October 1978 until April 2007.
He married in 1973 to Carrie (Cline) Nixon.
Brian & Carrie have three chidren, Ken (Jen) Nixon, Darcy (Todd) Williams & 
David (Pat) Nixon.
Brian was an avid hunter with his great friend, Wilber Bayse.
Brian especially loved spending time with his grandkids & great-grandkids.
Survived by his wife Carrie Nixon, Children, Ken(Jen) Nixon, Darcy (Todd) 
Williams & David(Pat) Nixon.
Grandchildren, Dan (Marlaina) Nixon, Bryan (Abbey) Holton, Skyler(Curtis) Root, 
Heather (Jareth) Williams, Eve Williams & Logan Nixon. Great-grandchildren, 
Bryon Holton, Amera Nixon, Elijah Nixon, Rose King, Sister, Deb (Wayne) Bolton.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sr. & Thelma Nixon. Brothers,Richard 
Nixon, Polly Nixon, William (Pat) Nixon, Walter(Beth)Nixon Jr. Sister, Caroline 
Allen (Jack).
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Lake 
Funeral Home in Ionia.
Visitation  Will be held at the funeral home the day prior, Friday,February 27, 
2026 from 4:00 PM until 7:00PM.
