The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 7, 1943

William Noddins, 71, died suddenly Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Elmer Sederlund, of Charlotte, who he had gone to visit last Tuesday.  Death 
was the result of a heart attack.

Mr. Noddins was born December 15, 1871, in Berlin township, and was the son of 
Thomas and Betsy Sherwood Noddins.  At an early age he moved with his parents 
to Bushnell in Montcalm county until the family moved to Orleans over 50 years 
ago.

January 24, 1894 he was married to Miss Elnora Westerveldt, who survives him.  
He is also survived by two sons, Howard and Robert, on the home farm, and a 
daughter, Mrs. Elmer Sederlund, of Charlotte; two grandsons and three 
granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the 
Fitzjohn funeral home at Belding.  Rev. A. C. McLachlan will officiate, and 
burial will be in the Orleans cemetery.
