Ida May Nolan Passes Away

Mrs. Ida May Nolan, 48, of Clarksville, passed away at Butterworth Hospital, 
Grand Rapids, Friday after a long illness.  A native of Cadillac, she moved to 
Clarksville six years ago from Grand Rapids. Mrs. Noland had been employed by 
the Lake Odessa Machine Products until her health forced her to retire.

She was the daughter of Preston and Pansy McIntyre and married John Nolan in 
Detroit, September 3, 1941.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Terry (Jackie) White, Mrs. 
Darrell (Shirley) Sturdavant and Sandra Nolan; also a son, John Jr., all of 
Clarksville; her mother, Mrs. Pansy Denman of Cadillac; five sisters, Mrs. Glen 
(Virginia) Nolf and Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Hawkins, both of Cadillac, Mrs. Emit 
(Cora) Horina of Baldwin, Mrs. Jean Ellenbos of Traverse City and Mrs. Dale 
(Joanne) Edgecomb of McBain; three brothers, Charles Denman of Cadillac, Daniel 
McIntyre of Pennsylvania and Harold McIntyre of Lake Orion.

Mrs. Nolan reposed at the Pickens Funeral Chapel at Clarksville until Tuesday 
morning. Graveside services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Slagle 
Cemetery at Harrietta, Mich. Rev. Donald Mathis officiated.
