NOLAN, 71, of 517 West Washington street, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday at Ionia County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient the past four days. She was a resident of Ionia 63 years and for 10 years operated the Ionia Cafeteria with her late husband, John, in the Elks temple building. For several years she was also housekeeper for Rev. Ralph Kelley at Carson City. She was born in Otisco township, June 29, 1891, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Laux. Membership activity included Rosary Society and Daughters of Isabella and she also belonged to Women of the Moose. She was preceded in death by her husband four years ago, and two sons, Donald in 1937, and Clayton in 1961. Surviving are a brother, Cletus Laux of Grosse Point; three grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs Clayton Nolan of Ionia. Rosary will be recited Monday night at 8 o'clock at Boyton funeral home and funeral mass will be Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul church. Interment will be in Mt.
