Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Apr 1989

William W. Nolty, 83, former Muir resident, died April 7 at the Fulton Medical 
Center.  He was born April 1, 1906, in Crystal Township, the son of Edward and 
Maude Harden Nolte.  He attended Crystal area schools.

He was married to Bernice Aulls in December 1928.  She preceded him in death in 
October 1972.  He was a former employee of TRW, Portland, retiring in April 
1971.  He lived in the Muir area from 1926 until 1984 when he entered Fulton 
Medical Center.  He is survived by one sister, Gertrude Dowsett of Lowell, and 
many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends and relatives Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Hull 
Memorial Chapel.  Burial services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Muir 
Cemetery, Dr. Lloyd Walker of the Muir Christian Church officiating.
