The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, June 21, 1956
Mrs. Mabel Nolty, 72, of Muir, died Wednesday, June 20 in Belding city 
hospital, where she had been admitted Tuesday evening at 9 o’clock.  She had 
been ill for some time and had been confined to her home.

She was born February 13, 1884 in Orleans township, the daughter of Jason and 
Almira Rich and was married in 1900 to Alton Leet, who preceded her in death.

There were six children, two being deceased, Leslie and Lucille and Mrs. 
Harriett Shell of Detroit, Ralph Leet of Inkster, Isadore Leet of Utah, Elmira 
Tisron of Lowell; one sister, Mrs. James Graham of Belding; one brother, Elmer 
Rich of Belding; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Shaw-
Rivett funeral home in Muir, with brother Peter H. Capone officiating.  
Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
