Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 19 Feb 1958

Edward J. Nolty, 85, of Lyons, died Tuesday morning at 7:30 at his home.  He 
was born in Ronald township March 21, 1872, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Nolty.

He was married December 25, 1892 to Maude Harnden.  They lived at Crystal for 
25 years and about 40 years in Lyons.

Surviving besides his wife Maude are two sons, William of Muir, and Richard of 
Ionia, two daughters, Mrs. Lula Woodbury of Muir and Mrs. Gertrude Dowsett of 
Ionia, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in 
Muir.  The Rev. Elmer Ubbink of Lyons will officiate.  Interment will be at 
Oakwood cemetery in Muir.
