The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 26, 1958
Mrs. Maude Nolty, 85, of Lyons died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital after a long illness.  Born September 30, 1872 at Lincoln, 
Maine, she was the daughter of Orin and Sarah Harnden.   She was married to 
Edward Nolty December 24, 1891 and he died February 18, 1953.  They lived in 
Lyons for 40 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Dowsett of Ionia and Mrs. Lula 
Woodbury of Muir; two sons, William of Muir and Richard of Ionia; ten 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at the First Christian church in Muir 
Tuesday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. Roger Wright will officiate.  Burial will be at 
Oakwood cemetery, Muir.

Subsequent Publication: 

Funeral service for Mrs. Maude Nolty of Lyons, who died Sunday at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital, was held at the First Christian church in Muir Tuesday at 2 
p.m.  The Rev. Roger Wright officiated.  Interment was at Oakwood cemetery, 
Muir.  Bearers were Clare Woodbury, Charles Woodbury, Leo Randall and Clifford 
Lazarus.
