Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Dec 1944

Mrs. Aletha Nora Nonnenmacher, 38, a former resident of Ionia, died Friday
evening in St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, following a major operation.  She had
been a resident of Lansing three years and was employed by the Fisher Body
corporation.

Surviving is her husband, Charles; one son, Warren W. Nonnenmacher, at home; one
daughter, Mrs. Mabel Reynolds of Okemos; two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. S.L. Bennette of Ionia; five sisters, Mrs. Enide Risley, Mrs. Leona
Johnson, Mrs. Orma Geralds, Mrs. Erma Colwell and Mrs. Arella Stevens, all of
Ionia; one brother, Warren Bennette, of Ionia.

The body will arrive at the Bradley funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon and
funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock.  The Rev. Dwight M. Kitch, pastor of
the First Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in the family lot
in Highland Park cemetery.
