Norcutt, 78, of 732 Jordan Lake avenue, died Saturday evening at Blodgett Memorial hospital in Grand Rapids, where he had been a patient since October 28. Born June 23, 1899, in Weidman, he was the son of Milo and Dora (Yoha) Norcutt. He moved with his parents as a small child to Clarksville, and graduated from Clarksville High School in1917. He was a self-employed interior decorator and pianist, and a resident of Clarksville and Lake Odessa since 1971. A veteran of World War II, he served with the special training detachment. He was discharged from Ft. Custer in 1943. Surviving is a niece, Mrs. Bernard (Maryellen) Johnson of Grand Rapids, and brothers-in-law, Ben and Joseph Hoekstra of Grand Rapids; an aunt, Mrs. Blake (Flossie) Allerding of Lake Odessa. Services will be Tuesday at Pickens-Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Arthur Ruder officiating. Burial is in Clarksville cemetery.
