Ionia Shopper's Guide-Saturday July 24, 2021

NORDHOF
Tara Jean Nordhof 39 of Ionia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday 
July 13, 2021. She was born in Greenville on July 13, 198. the beloved daughter 
of Mark and Brenda Tomkinson. She married the love of her life Jim on August 11, 
2007. Her life revolved around her husband and children. She captured and lived 
life to its fullest with shopping, concerts, vacations, movies, and spending 
time with her children, family and friends. Tara was loving, caring and had a 
smile that could light up a room.

She received her Master's degree as a reading specialist from GVSU.

She enjoyed teaching in the Greenville area for the last 16 years.

She will be terribly missed by her devoted husband Jim, and beloved children 
Egan and Lilly. Her memory will continue to live on through them and by her 
loving parents Mark and Brenda, brother Brett (Kenzie) Tomkinson, Mother and 
father-in-law Don and Mary Shattuck, Brothers-in-law Dan (Danette) Nordhof, Bill 
(Danielle) Nordhof, step siblings Donald (Jayme) Shattuck and Amanda (Aaron) 
Wolf along with several loved nieces and nephews.

She was greeted in heaven by her grandmothers, Joanne Hysell and Ruth Tomkin- 
son. The memory of Tara will always be vivid in our hearts and minds.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM Friday, July 23 at the Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Memorial Contributions can
