The accident occurred on the farm of Nordman’s son, Ralph W. Nordman, who lives four miles south of Palo. He was holding a pair of young horses hitched to a wagon when they became frightened by a threshing machine. Nordman was dragged 90 feet before he was run over by the heavy farm wagon. The wagon ran over his hip, leg, and arm. Taken to the Carson City hospital, Nordman died at 8:10 o’clock Saturday night. The accident took place about 4:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon. He is survived by his son, a step-daughter, Mrs. Maxine Braman, of Ionia, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held from the Myers funeral home in Ionia Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Burial will be at Highland Park cemetery, Ionia.
