BETTY JEAN NORMAN 1927-2017
Betty Jean Norman, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Jan.6, 
2017 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on Oct. 3, 1927 in Chicago, IL. In 1945 
she married Marion Norman and moved to Ionia where they raised their children 
Sue Ann (Ed) Norman-Gerring, Glen (Nancy) Norman and Mike (Joan) Norman.

Betty worked as a stitcher for Chrysler for 26 years. She was the owner of 
Evergreen Motel from 1976-2007. She is widely known for her annual memorial 
Weekend yard sale, which she held for 30 years. She was an avid deer hunter 
and proudly displayed her 8 and 10 point trophy racks. With her passing, 
another buck lives on.
