Norman, 49, of Ionia, died suddenly at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Locher, of Saranac late Wednesday afternoon of an internal hemorrhage. Although Mrs. Norman spent some time in an Ionia hospital weeks ago her condition had shown much improvement until she was suddenly stricken. Born December 1, 1896 in Berlin township Mrs. Norman was graudated from Saranac high school. She came to Ionia only a short time ago when her husband, H. O. Norman, accepted a position in an Ionia meat market after being honorably discharged from the armed services. Mrs. Norman had gone to the home of her mother Tuesday night to visit. She is survived by her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Talcott, Mrs. Ruth Peterlie, and Mrs. Esther Baie, all of Saranac. Mrs. Norman was a past president of the Saranac Woman’s club and for many years pianist for the Saranac Eastern Star. Funeral services are to be conducted from the Morris funeral home at Saranac at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Interment will be at the Saranac cemetery.
