Funeral services for Leonora Normington, 85, who died Monday night at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Conrad Churchill, will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 
p.m. from the Burns-Gunther Funeral Home at Carson City where the body reposes.

She was born in Ohio on December 18, 1871, the oldest daughter of Jane and 
William Hendrix, but grew up in Union county, Iowa.  She came to Grand Rapids 
in 1898; was married to Frank Normington in 1902.  She lived in Ionia county 
all her married life but after the death of her husband in 1937, she lived with 
her children.

She is survives by a brother and two sisters at Afton, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Roy 
Normington, of Ionia; the daughter, Lois; a son, Leo, of Bangor and one 
granddaughter, Cheryl Normington, a junior at Hope College.

Burial will be at Lake Side cemetery, Lake Odessa  Rev. H. James Birdsall, 
pastor of the Carson City Methodist church, will officiate.
