Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Nov. 17, 1966

O. C. NORRIS PASSES AWAY
O. C Norris, 80, passed away Monday afternoon at the White Hills Monticello Rest
Home in East Lansing, where he had been a patient for several months.

A native of Edmore, he came here in 1945 and was a retired carpenter. He married
Ouida Dunshee, October 23, 1909 and she passed away May 31, 1966.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Robert (Freda) Chase of Lansing, Mrs. Elmer (Iva)
Hudson of Holt, Mrs. Norman (Maxine) Northrup of Midland, Mrs.Ed (Merce) Bappert of
Williamston and Mrs. W. R. (Thelma) Nourse of Buenos Aires, Argentina; two sons,
Fred W. of Detroit and Dwight Eugene Norris of Lake Odessa; 28 grandchildren; 21 great-
grandchildren, and a brother Fred of Edmore.

Funeral services are being held Thursdsay (today) at 11 am at the Pickens Funeral
Chapel with burial in the Vinewood cemetery, Edmore. Rev. Roy Houghton officiated.
