Ionia Standard, 10 Jan 1890

Isaac North’s funeral was held last week Wednesday, at the Baptist church, and 
was largely attended.  Mr. North totally blind for a good many years, yet he 
always succeed in finding a host of fun out of his life of darkness.  For the 
past few years of his life he was a great sufferer.  His death occurred at his 
sister’s Mrs. L. Wright.  Aged 58.
