Funeral services for Victor A. North, 65, a past governor of the Ionia Moose 
lodge, were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home.  The Rev. 
H. S. Ellis of Belding conducted the service.  Interment was in the family lot, 
Palo cemetery.  North died at his home at 806 Prospect street Thursday, Feb. 
2.  Bearers were Herbert Ross, Harry DeHart, Herbert Haag and Clinton Ries.  
Members of the Ionia Loyal Order of Moose attended in a group.

Those attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence North, 
Mr. and Mrs. Donald North and Mr. and Mrs. Robert North of Belding; Mr. and 
Mrs. Marvin North and Sue, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rochee, Russell Rochee and Miss 
Cecelia Haynes of Ann Arbor; Mr. and Mrs. Morsden Jakeway of Lansing; Adam 
North of Big Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle North, Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Pierson, Mr. 
and Mrs. Robert Pierson and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Leach of Orleans; Mrs. Florence 
Hacker, Mrs. Pearl Raupt of East Aurora, N. Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry DeHart of 
Long Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Dorsen Dunlop and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Frisbee of 
Sheridan; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cooper of Ovid, Robert Haas of Saginaw; Mrs. 
Vivian Fischer of Smyrna; Mrs. Evelyn Tucker of Greenville; Miss Beverly Bailey 
and John Scholtens of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. James Ekleberry and family of 
Flint; and Mr. and Mrs. Ney Jones of Palo.
