The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, December 30, 1933

Nelson R. North, 67, died at 10:15 o’clock Friday night at his home, 1025 west 
Main street where he had been ill for some time.  Funeral services will be 
conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the Boynton chapel with Rev. 
F. J. Fitch, pastor of the First Baptist church in charge.

Mr. North was born in Easton township where he was a prominent farmer before 
he moved to the city to reside.  Surviving him is one son, John, at home.  
Pearl North of Easton is a cousin.
