EASTON WOMAN'S FUNERAL THURSDAY

Mrs. Elsie J. North, 83, died at her home in Easton Monday evening, at 8:30 of 
an illness that was caused by hardening of the arteries. The funeral services 
will be had from the home of her son, B.E. North, in Easton, Thursday 
afternoon, November 29, at 2:30. Rev. Herbert G. Hurrell will be in charge of 
the services. The burial will be in the family lot in the Easton cemetery.

Elsie J. Sibley was born in Schuylers Falls, N.Y. and came to Michigan in 1867. 
She taught school for two years. In 1869 she was united in marriage to 
Frederick A. North, of Easton. They began housekeeping in the little farm home 
in Easton, which since her marriage 59 years ago has been her home. Mr. North 
died 22 years ago.

She leaves two sons, B.E. North and P.E. North, both of Easton. The latter has 
made his home with his mother; also a brother, A.L. Sibley, of Grand Rapids; a 
granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Rudolph of Ann Arbor, survives.
