Ionia Shopper's Guide-Sat. January 25, 2020

NORTH
Gay Lynn North, age 67 of Ionia, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2020. 
Gay was born on August 28, 1952 and adopted to Gaylord and Jean Lower in 
Battle Creek On October 3, 1985. She married the love of her life, Timothy 
North.

Gay loved reading. She especially enjoyed watching and collecting American 
Horror Stories. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida and loved spending time 
with her grandchildren. She retired from the State of Michigan after 25 years 
and enjoyed her retirement.

She is survived by her mother, Jean Piselli of Ionia; children, Katherine 
(Daniel) Heydenburk of Orleans, William (Stacey) Kanouse of Ionia and Nicole 
North of Okemos; brother, Rick (Pat) Lower of Ionia and sister-in-law Kris 
North of Belding; grandchildren, Athena, Noah, Joel, Dylan and Timothy; and 
great-grandchildren, Oliver and Dekklan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaylord, step-father, Lou Piselli, 
and her husband Timothy North.

A celebration of Life will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 
2020 at the family's home, 354 Lafayette St., Ionia, MI. Online condolences
