Taylor was born in Wales, New York, December 10, 1847, and departed this life March 11, 1915, at her home in Bloomer, aged 67 years, three months and one day. When a small child she moved to Wales, Penn., where in 1866 she was married to Erastus A. North. In 1879 they moved on a farm near Palo, Mich. and has lived near there all but a short time which was spent in New York. To this union came five children, four sons and one daughter, Emma, who passed beyond at the age of 15 years. The husband and sons, Orren of Greenville, Earnest of Butternut, Victor of Bloomer, and Adam of Owosso, eight grandchildren and a host of friends are left to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at her late home Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Palo, Rev. H. V. Wade officiating.
