The Portland Observer, Tuesday, September 17, 1872
Frederick North, aged about 15, son of F. W. North of Easton, was drowned in a 
pond on Thursday, 5th inst.  Being partly paralyzed in one side he could not 
help himself, and was drowned before assistance could reach him.
