Ionia Standard, 12 Mar 1915

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McQuillan left Sat. for Claremont, South Dakota, with the
remains of her father, R.M. Northrup, who died on Thursday, near Muir, at the
ripe age of 87 years.  Mr. Northrup went to Dakota many years ago from Kalamazoo
county, returning to Michigan a few years ago.  Mr. and Mrs. McQuillan were
married at Claremont some 37 years ago, and there is still another daughter of
the Northrups resident there.  The remains will be laid beside those of the wife
gone before.
