Smyrna Pioneer Dead

Albert Northway, aged 85 years, died at his home in Smyrna on Saturday night,
June 13th.  Mr. Northway was born in Messapotamia, Trumbul county, Ohio, in 1840
and came with his parents to Smyrna when he was four years of age, residing in
the vicinity where he died during practically his entire lifetime, a highly
respected and honored citizen.  Surviving are the widow and a host of warm
friends who will mourn their loss.  Funeral services were held on Tuesday
afternoon at two o’clock, from his late home, Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and
burial was in Smyrna cemetery.
