Ionia Daily Standard, 3 Oct 1910

Stewart M. Norton, aged 86 years and 7 months, died at the home on West
Washington street, on Saturday afternoon at 5 o’clock.  Mr. Norton was a pioneer
resident of more than half a century, and a man of unblemished character, who
had the respect and confidence of the community.  He was twice married, his
second wife surviving, and also three children: John W., by first wife, of this
city, and Clark of Ludington, and Miss Hazel, living at home.  Funeral at the
home, West Washington St., Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
