Ionia Standard, 12 Mar 1915

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Norton, whose death occurred on Monday
shortly before 1 o’clock, were held on Thursday at 2:30, from the late home on
West Washington St.  Mrs. Norton, although not a member of the Evangelical
church, had attended services there many years, and Rev. Lyman will officiate,
providing he is able to do so.  Mrs. Norton was a long time resident of Ionia
and was the widow of Sherwood Norton, whom she survived by about four years. 
Mrs. Norton is survived by a daughter, Hazel, who made her home with her mother,
and by a son, Clarke Norton of Muskegon, also a step-son, John Norton of this
city.
