Excerpts from Grand Rapid Obituary

MARY E. NORTON 
Died march 23, 1989-age 99 at River Forest Manor at Three Rivers.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alma Scott of Boston; a sister. Mrs.Mabel 
Burleigh of Ionia; a grandson, Major Philip Scott U.S. Army, Dover,Del.;3 
granddaughters, Lorraine Money of Barron, Wisc., Sherie Potts of Wellesley, 
Mass.,Patricia Steffens of Framingham, Mass; a niece Virginia Trumbell of 
Saranac,MI.
Mrs. Norton was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist,Grand Rapids & the 
First Church of Christ of Boston.
Mary was a former teacher of South High School.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggest memorials to Welloughby Woods Foundation, Box 25081, Lansing, 
Mich. 48909
Services in care of Eggebeen-Gerst, 330 Eastern S.E.
