Ionia Sentinel Standard - Friday July 5, 1974

                                CLYDE A. NORTON

MATHERTON-Clyde Ancel Norton, 79, a lifelong resident of the village died in 
Carson City hospital July 3.

Born June 15, 1886 in Matherton, he was a son of George A. and Martha Jane 
Thomas Norton.

He was married to Alice Mulholland April 28, 1916 and was a retired employe of 
the Borden factory in Perrinton.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs.Joe Babcock of Hubbardston and 
Mrs.Don Lambi of Houghton Lake, three grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.

Graveside services under the auspices of Estep Funeral Home of Muir were at 11 
am July 5, with burial in East Plains cemetery.
