Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, Jan. 11, 1979

LANSING- A former Portland resident, Richard A. Norwood, 74, of 1333 Roosevelt, 
Lansing, died Wednesday at Michigan Veterans facility.

He was born June 23, 1904 in Portland to Chester Norwood and Pearl Crowell.

Survivors include his wife Nina of Lansing; one daughter, Mrs. Murial Zimmers 
of Portland; three grandchildren and one sister, Ms. Wade (Florence) Buckley.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 pm from the Neller funeral home, 
Portland. Rev. Morris Christenson will officiate. Burial will be in Portland 
cemetery.
