Mr. Christopher M. Nummer, 28, of Ionia, passed away Thurs., Dec. 21, 2000 at
his home.  Christopher Michael Nummer was born Sept. 7, 1972, in Ionia, the son
of James and Deborah (Robinson) Nummer.  He served in the U. S. Army Reserves
and was self-employed in the construction business.

Christopher is survived by two sons, Darion Kobera and Christopher James Nummer;
one daughter, Paris Dora; his parents, James (Joan) Nummer of Ionia and Deborah
(Timothy) Hendricks of Mason; two brothers, James G. Nummer of Grand Rapids and
Matthew Maynard of Caledonia; four sisters, Rebekah Nummer of Sacramento,
Calif., Angela Maynard of Caledonia, Jennifer (Adam) Daughtery of Muir and
Michele Ayers of Ionia; and his grandmother, Gladys Nummer of Ionia.

Visiting hours for Mr. Nummer will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
to 8:30 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, Thursday evening.  Friends and relatives may
meet at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., Friday where a mass of
the Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Ardis presiding. 
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the wishes of the Nummer family.  Envelopes are
available at the funeral home and the church.
