The Ionia Daily Standard, Saturday, August 26, 1899

Irving Nummer, 20 years old, son of Leroy Nummer of Easton, died last night of 
typhoid fever.  He was taken sick in Dakota, where he went on the harvest 
excursion, and returned home Aug. 16.  Funeral services at Easton church, at 
3:30 p.m. sun time, Sunday.
