The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 12, 1967
Mrs. Anna Nurenberg, 50, of Route 3 Portland, died Tuesday in St. Lawrence 
hospital in Lansing.  She was born August 8, 1917 in Westphalia the daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schrauben and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic 
church in Portland and also its altar society. Her husband Herman survives.

Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church in 
Portland.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery in Westphalia.  Rosary will 
be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland.  Bearers 
will be Clarence and Matt Schrauben, Jr., Dale Kloeckner, James Miller, 
Kenneth Hughes and David Nurenberg.
