Spectator, tells of the death of a former local resident, Mrs. Chas. B. Nye. At the time the Nyes lived here, Mr. Nye was engaged in the meat market business, being at one time in partnership with Forest Fish. ”Mrs. Chas. B. Nye died in Crowley, Louisiana, February 6, 1921. Mrs. Nye will be remembered as Elizabeth George who was born 73 years ago in Rushford where her early life was spent. In 1867 she married Charles B. Nye. They spent some years in and about Rushford, leaving here for Castile. From there they went to Michigan where they resided until five years ago when they went to Crowley to make their home with their only son, George B. Nye. Besides her husband and son, she is survived by one brother, Carl A. George, of Wrenshall, Minn., and two sisters, Mrs. C. A. Thayer, of San Francisco, Cal. and Mrs. P. A.
