Lake Odessa Wave - Sept. 8, 1893
          Mrs. Abigail Nye, wife of John Nye, living about two miles from town, died
Saturday evening of cancer of 
the stomach, having been sick about nine and one-half weeks.  She would have been 65
years old in two 
more days. The funeral occurred at the M. E. church, Lake Odessa Monday at 1
o'clock, Rev. J. S. Valentine 
officiating. She will be missed by a large circle of friends, and leaves one
daughter and a heart-broken 
husband to mourn her losss.
