Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Oct 1969

Mrs. Lena M. Oberlin, 66, of 428 Hambrook, Belding, died Sunday at her home. 
She was born June 7, 1903 in Alpena and had lived in Belding the past 34 years.
 She was married February 10, 1923 in Ionia to Elan Oberlin.  She was a member
of Doric chapter OES and Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. William Erickson of
Muskegon, Mrs. Stanley White of Muir; two sons, Dean of Belding, Elan, Jr., of
Greenville; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Carl
Thomas of Belding, Mrs. Evelyn Priest of Pontiac; one brother, Ernest LaFond of
Orleans.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding,
 Rev. Wilford Wood will officiate and interment will be at River Ridge cemetery.
 Eastern Star memorial services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m.  Family will be at the
funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.
