Coroner Harry Myers, who with Sheriff Leslie Murphy was called to investigate, stated death was caused from heart attack, and said that no inquest would be held. Mr. Oberson, who had been ill about six weeks, had been with friends Saturday night before returning home. A neighbor noticed that lights in his house remained on Saturday night and Sunday, investigated and his body was found on a chair. Sheriff Murphy said practically all of the man's money and possessions were found in his pockets. He had moved to Clarksville from Saranac several years ago, and lived alone. The only known relative is a cousin, , Howard Oberson, of Lansing. He was unmarried. Funeral services were held from the Beattie Funeral home, at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, April 26. Burial in Saranac cemetery.
