Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Thomas Herald O’Connell, 74, of Fowler, died Thursday, January 10, 2002 at the 
Carson City Hospital.  He was born March 19, 1927 in Clinton County to Daniel 
and Mary (Rockey) O’Connell.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic 
Church in Hubbardston.  He enjoyed farming most of his life.

He is survived by one sister, Roselyn (Roman) Rademacher of St. Johns and many 
nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and 
two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church in Hubbardston, with Fr. William Reitz officiating.  Visitation 
will be held Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 
the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City.  Interment will be in St. John 
the Baptist Cemetery, Hubbardston.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart 
Association.
