The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 19, 1973


Stephen Bruce O’Connell, 81, former Ionia resident, died Sunday morning at his 
home, 2714 Hall street SE, Grand Rapids. 

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three sons, Robert B. O’Connell, Louis F. 
O’Connell, and Philip M. O’Connell of Grand Rapids; nine grandchildren and two 
great grandsons one sister, Genevieve O’Connell of Lansing.

The family will be at Metcaff funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Services 
will be at the chapel there Tuesday at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be at 
Mt. Olivet cemetery in Ionia at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
